1967

In 1967 Mr. Ernst Uhlmann starts a buisness for PCB manufacturing in the eastern part of Switzerland.

The business was quickly growing and more companies were founded in Switzerland, USA Germany and other countries, mainly for multilayer PCB manufacturing, CAD services for PCB and IC design.

1977

Formation of FELA Planungs AG in Neuenhof (Switzerland): Planning and supply of factory equipment and know-how, commissioning of turnkey PCB and electronics factories worldwide.

1982

Development and implementation of a visionary concept for designing and manufacturing application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs).

1985

Establishing and managing the LASARRAY group (financed with venture capital), with factories in Biel/Switzerland, Heidelberg/Germany and Irvine/CA, USA. IPO performed.

1992

Foundation of Yperwatch SA, Vaumarcus/Switzerland: Development of GammaControl, the first wrist watch worldwide with an integrated radiometer.

1995

Foundation of the FELA Elektronik GmbH, Villingen-Schwenningen/Germany: Development and production of intelligent chip cards and connected systems

from 1997

Foundation of the FELA Management AG in Diessenhofen/Switzerland: Development and production of traffic telematics and electronic input systems (SWITCH PANELs), especially toll systems for roads with DSRC, GPS and GSM technology, transit telematics and asset localization.
