FELA Management AG supplies the technology for Poland’s trial for a heavy vehicle toll system
In the EU State of Poland the preliminary work for the introduction of a heavy vehicle toll system is currently running.
The invitation of tenders for this project has been published a few days ago by the Road Administration Office (GDDK) in Warsaw.
Prior to this invitation of tenders, “Autoguard SA” in Warsaw has been asked, together with the technology supplier FELA Management AG, to carry out a trial implementation in the Warsaw area. Initiation is planned for May 2010.
Hereby the mileage driven by the testing vehicles is to be calculated depending on time and place.
The relevant contracts between FELA, Autoguard and the customer have recently been signed. The installations for the trial already are already in progress. For this trial the On-Board-Units (OBU) Tripon EU comprising GPS/GSM will be used.
For the life demonstration ANPR cameras and DSRC will be used.
FELA Management AG considers itself – in cooperation with its partner Autoguard - in the good position for the currently running invitation of tenders for a heavy vehicle toll system in Poland.
